Tiger Roll Puts Up Performance of the Day in Cross Country

Tiger Roll is an outstanding horse, and after a hugely impressive win in the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham, it is now all systems go for the Grand National. He didn’t only win the Cross Country, he demolished the field, recording a winning margin of 22 lengths in what was a flawless round from start to finish.

Going into the race you could easily argue that he was in even better form this year than when he won the race last year, and that is now exactly the same situation for the Grand National. He has more weight to carry, but regardless of that there is no stopping him at the moment, and he has to be a serious contender for back to back wins in the race. That would also complete a unique double-double, with four wins at Cheltenham and in the Grand National over two years.

On what was a good day for punters, the banker of the day for many, and the banker of the meeting for some well and truly landed to give them a good day. All eyes are on next month now, to see if this horse can win another Grand National at Aintree.
